Remarks

First I applied for Utkal University for my PG in life scene but didn't get into due to less mark in my entrance examination. Also, the no. of seats for life Science is limited there. After that, I get qualified for RDWU for my PG. The admission criteria for PG id provided based on the score of entrance examination following Viva and career marks. Based on these criteria I get qualified for the free seat which involves a fee of only 2500 rupees for the first year. There are a total of 16free seats and 16 self financing seats for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

RDWU offers courses in UG, PG and PhD with numerous specialisations. The professors of my department are very highly educated. The faculty to student ratio is 1:3 for the life science department of the PG course. The college development council takes all necessary steps for promotion, coordination and raising the standard of education in college. The faculties are very supportive in my department. The examination is semester based and controlled by the university.

There is no specific internship opportunity for the PG students. However, other opportunities help the student. Students who get qualified in UGC NET (JRF) get a stipend of Rs 25000 with HRA.

There are separate blocks for separate courses. The infrastructure is well maintained. There is a separate library for our department. There are separate laboratories for the PG department of life science. The canteen is clean, well maintained and big enough to accommodate the students and staff members. I personally like the contemplative aspect of this course that isn't available at any other universities, this fact itself makes this university unique on itself and it helps with your mental health and it's truly amazing considering that we're students of psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a lecturer so i choosed the royal course Masters in zoology rather than any other specialisation course. And the course Masters of Science in Zoology, Botany is provided by very few private universities in Odisha and AIPHU is one of them i think probably the best one. Faculty do come and leave but there replacement is done simultaneously. The faculty student ratio is normal. Most of the faculty members have completed there PhD as well as Post Doctorial research from foreign universities and medical. Our faculty focus on building strong foundation. They start from basics and teach the difficult topics in very simpler way. We have two midterms each of 1 hours and of 100points which get converted to 20 marks. And one endterm of 50 marks and 10 marks for internal assessment. Midterms are brainstorming but it makes us thorough in specific units which makes endterm exam easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this allows me to delve deeper into the passion for understanding animal life and their biological processes. Secondly, this is also a step towards my goal to become a researcher. The faculty members at our university are very dedicated, highly qualified, with their post-docs from a renowned university and are very cooperative. They teach us in a very friendly way, and their passion for research enriches the academic environment. The difficulty level for term exams is medium, neither too hard nor too easy, and requires hard work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I much interest in it. Student faculty ratios is good as per availability. Professor are available most of the time. They are all very qualified and are hired as per the minimum requirements criteria of the college. Exams are semester-wise and happen biannually. It's difficult to pass the exams if you don't study properly throughout the year.
