Remarks
I have given JEE Mains entrance exam but i hadn't qualified and i want to do engineering so i get to know about SVIET so I took admission in the mechanical engineering branch. I had a Personal Interview before admission. I think the minimum mark would be 45 percent.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i want to be an engineer and also mechanical branch have a wide variety of fields and there is a demand of mechanical engineer in almost most of the industries. The faculties are good and cooperative if you have any problems regarding to your course they will help you. I find it a little difficult to pass but if you are regular in class and study hard it would not be difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Only Computer Science Engineering Students are offered internships during 2nd and 3rd year of engineering, till now we haven't got any internship opportunities. We have to make a minor project every year.
Placement Experience
In mechanical engineering only final year students are eligible but CSE Students are eligible from the 3rd year only. The students who got placement are mostly of 80 percentage. Few students are able to get the placement. Some companies such as Tech Mahindra, Byju's, Mymsys, etc came till now I have seen.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nice among the mid-level colleges if there is any scholarship provided by the central government and state government then you can apply. Companies visit while placement drive and eligible students can apply and they may get a job if they are selected.
Campus Life
There occurs two fests organized by our college and sometimes university also organize some Inter college fests such as Cultural etc. Annually an inter college cricket fest also organized. NCC is also available in our college. There are different clubs such as eco, sports, music, dance, etc. by students.
Hostel Facilities
There are all basic facilities available in the hostel one student is provided one bed, one table, one chair, and a drawer. For registration, you have to meet the warden and do an entry. If you live outside a hostel by taking a rented room or PG the money would cost almost the same as that of hostel fees. There are rented rooms and PG available which are 1 km away from the college.
