Remarks
The other university that I applied for was IMS, Ghaziabad and the reason for not attending it was that the university was at a distance from my city. I haven't availed any quota for getting admission in TMU, There were no strict criteria to get admission. No entrance exam or no PI etc. except for one that was - Minimum marks required were 55% in your class 12th boards. The admission process was quite simple I just had to fill a form providing some details and then paying a cash amount of rs. 5000 which was deducted from my tuition fees later.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to pursue BCA because I had a keen interest in computer applications and I found a very good future scope for software developers which is my goal. There are enough faculties in the college so that all the students can get equal and adequate attention. There are more than 80 faculties over 260 students which are more than enough. The faculties are quite experienced and expert in their specialization. There are many PhD faculties and all of them are highly qualified. The teaching method is very satisfactory as teachers are always available to mentor you and clear your doubts and also help you with their guidance. The term exams occurred thrice in a semester every 1.5 months. It is not at all difficult to clear them if attend your classes properly.
Placement Experience
Placements records of TMU are really appreciable. The efforts made by them are remarkable. Students get eligible from their 5th semester itself to attend the placement drives. Companies which offer jobs to students are Flipkart, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, HCL etc. there are more than 100 job opportunities for students. The highest package offered is 20 lakhs per year and the average is 5-8 lakhs per year. Job profiles are Software developers, Software engineers, Android developers, web developers etc. more than 85% of the students get placement on campus. My plan is to become a software developer after completing my studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite affordable when I was studying At TMU, The tuition fees were Rs. 20700 per semester. They really teach you very well according to the fees they charge. There are scholarship schemes for students named 'UP Government Scholarship' and one is 'National Scholarship'. and there is a very good fees discount policy for the students who scored more than 50%, 60% and 80% in their 12th boards. I scored 83% for which I paid only for 3 semesters out of 6. And there is a separate fees discount for Jain students too.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest named 'Ignite' which is celebrated very cheerfully in TMU at the campus auditorium in the month of March. There are performances like dancing, singing, skits etc. Other college fests are 'Rock on' held every 2 years for which a Bollywood singer is invited for a night concert. It is the most amazing experience ever. Many technical fests are also organised like 'Arduino day', 'Engineers day' etc. and conferences like 'IEEE' are also held which are really beneficial for students to show their anchoring and paper presentation talents. There is a huge 2 floored library with every academic book available along with journals college newspaper named 'TMU Live' etc. Classrooms are very spacious neat and clean with quality furniture. A sports event named 'Spardha' is organized every year in TMU for students to show their sports skills and win various prizes.
