Brief about TMU

Admission is solely on the basis of your subject and the percentage you obtained in class 12th. If you have more than 80% in class 12th, then you can have an additional 5% discount on your tuition fees.

My course is B.Tech with specialization in Artificial intelligence. This is one of the more difficult courses, and so the faculties are not that good with the subjects, yet they are all hard-working and efficient (All the faculties that we have for the course have completed their PhD). Their teaching patterns are different, and they all follow their own methods of teaching. The exams for my course are comparatively difficult from the Computer Science branch, but you can pass if you have a great understanding of the subject.

There are many companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS that offer positions like software developer or web developer. Depending on the type of knowledge the student has, he/she gets placed. There are generally faculties who provide the chance to write a research paper and a review paper, which get published on IEEE as well. And there are many projects on which you can work based on your own interests.

From the 6th semester, any student is eligible to sit in the placements. The average package is around 5 lpa. There are also many seniors who have got an offline job and have much higher packages. The percentage of students getting places is approximately 60%, and many of them have got their jobs off-campus.

If you are a Jain student, then TMU may be a better choice for you. The fee structure of TMU for Jain students is very different. It gives a scholarship of 50% on the tuition fees and a 40% scholarship (only for common rooms) on the hostel fees.

The annual fest for our college is DAZZLE, and there is also a fest where the whole college gathers; it's ROCK ON. The central library contains all the books and journals that a student might require. The sports and extra-curricular activities at TMU are some of the best, as there is an indoor stadium and a huge cricket and football ground.

There are basically common and attached rooms (with a 3-seater and a 2-seater). There are coolers in every room, and A.C. as well, if you opt for that type of room. The girls' hostel is very beautiful and has good architecture. There is breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner for all the students, and it tastes better than many other mess facilities. For Jain students, the hostel fees have a 40% discount on common rooms.
