Not the best, but not the worst

I had given my option list to almost all govt colleges but due to the cut-off marks, I got admission in the 2nd allotment in the college of engineering, Perumon. I got admission under the OBC quota. The last year's cut-off rank for OBC in our college was nearly to 35k. The admission process is completely online and you only need to give correct priority of option for your admission. You need to be very careful while giving your options.

All faculty members are good but the infrastructure of the college needs to be improved much more. The campus is environmentally friendly and has a peaceful nature. A library facility is available and almost all useful books are available there.

There is a separate placement cell in our college which guides the students to choose the right industry for their internship program and it also trains students for their placement program. Last year nearly 80+ eligible students from all branches got placements in various companies.

Currently, college gives admission for ME, CS, EEE & EC. But the truth is that only IT companies are coming for placements. Almost all eligible students get placed in reputed companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc.

The fee structure of the college is affordable and also the college provides numerous scholarships for financially backward students. The majority of students are able to apply for about 1 scholarship.

I had joined the college during the covid time, so at present, there are no live activities in the college but before that, there were many programs organized by the students and college management like annual tech fest, moto show, freshers day and several others
