Centralized admission process through Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical examination (Keam). A rank list prepared on the basis of KEAM and plus 2 marks are used to allot seats to various engineering colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. With respect to the rank list prepared, our preferred options can be given and the allotment shall be based on the preference rank list has an important role in getting our preferred option). I loved machines, I had a passion for them it motivated me to opt for mechanical engineering, Every faculty in this esteemed institution has at least an MTech from a renowned institution, the HoDs and professors have completed Ph.D. or are pursuing Ph.D. Term exams and university exams are held on a regular interval in a timely manner strictly based on the syllabus provided. With proper training, it was pretty easy to pass these exams in flying colors. In terms of quality and strength of faculties, it never seemed to be an issue for me. The support they provide is just super good for the well-being of our students.

Various Government offered internships can be taken in KSEB, KSRTC, and other esteemed institutions. There are other private companies too that actively recruit and employ internship opportunities for our students. Various project opportunities in association with various Govt. schemes are often provided at regular intervals to various students.

Students studying in the 7th semester are eligible for placement opportunities. A wide range of MNC's visit our college including WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, SOTI, L&T, etc. An average of 3.6 lac/ annum is offered to students, with the highest offer hiking up to 12 lac/annum by Byju's. The placement cell is active and ensures that every student is getting at least a single offer from one of the companies. The majority of the students are placed at the end of the 8th semester. I plan to pursue MTech after the completion of the course.

Once you enroll in the college, there is no/minimal fee hike. The complete cost study can vary from 32,000/course to 5.6 lac/course. The fee structure depends on the quota you seek admission. In merit seats, it is as minimal as 32000, while in NRI quota it hikes up to 5.6 lac. Please do note that these fee structures are rough and may vary. These fees are for the complete duration of the course[Cumulative fees for 4 years). Various Government grants are available for economically backward students in Merit Category. Scholarship options are not available for Management/NRI Quota students.

The annual Tech fest named Advyka is conducted yearly in March. It opens up opportunities for each and every student to ace their talents and battle with 1000s of students from various colleges. SAE, IEEE, CIS, etc are the major clubs that deal with the technical programs being conducted off and on campus. NSS Unit is one of the most active groups that take care of various opportunities and ensure that every student has the ability to take part in it. The library has a large collection of books along with technical journals that are often recharged at regular intervals to ensure students stay updated with the positive news from the tech world.
