Remarks

Among the several colleges I applied for, I chose SDGI because of its location, faculties and placement records. Any student having passed the high school can opt for the diploma course, provided he secured 60% marks. I opted for SDGI through counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the college for the quality education, as the faculties here are very helpful. All the faculties are well qualified and they offer their best to the students. The faculty to students ratio is good here and the classes are interesting. Terms exams are conducted thrice a semester And they are very relevant and cover the syllabus evenly.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides an excellent opportunity for internship programs. Students are involved in the projects so that they can understand the practical challenges. It enhances their employability. Full assistance is provided from college and the faculties also guide the students from time to time in their on going projects.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for attending the placement drives in 6th Sem of the course. Various companies like Wipro and sumit visit the college for campus placements. Students get handsome packages from employers. Placement ratios are well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite stable and balanced,. For the internship, the college provides full assistance and guidance to the students. Various job fairs and campus drives are arranged to provide an opportunity to students

Campus Life

The library has a rich stock of books for all the subjects and courses. Various journals are also available for the students to enhance their technical understanding. Classroom are interactive and the teaching methods of faculties are very useful for the students. The large ground is available for the weekly sessions for outdoor activities.

Placement Experience:

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.
