Remarks

My main reason for choosing this university was that it was close to home. I had not scored very well in JEE so my admission through that was a bit unsure. Which is why I chose Sanskriti University as it is independent of that. I also received a partial waiver on my tuition fees based on the Class 12 marks, so that was helpful. The eligibility criteria, at my time, was to have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics(as compulsory subjects) along with one other obtaining at least 45% marks inthe above subjects taken together. Having fulfilled that, I went to their website and filled out the form and submitted the registration fee. It was 10000 rupees, I think. After that I received my offer letter in two weeks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our faculty members are really experienced and they expose us to a rigorous and exhaustive curriculum designed to bring out the best and to keep them in touch with the latest development. The main computer lab where we work has a number of computers with dual core and core 2 duo microprocessor more than we need, in fact. All the systems are connected through LAN and our campus is fully enabled with Wi-fi too! This helps out a lot when we are working on our projects in our room. We usually work on projects a lot as most of our curriculum is practical, application based and overseen by our professors.

Placement Experience

3.5

My university, from what I see, is really committed to providing quality placement to all eligible final year students of different programs. They focus on our employability and we are guided through the necessary steps to make us industry-ready. I think more than 90% of my seniors have been placed with reputed companies. Last year the highest package was 31 LPA and the average for our department was 6 LPA. What's amazing was over 150 companies came during placement drives last year including the bigshots like Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, Wipro and such

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think that compared to other private universities I had looked into before getting admitted to Sanskriti University, our fee structure is really good. It is about 60000 rupees per semester which comes to about 480000 rupees for four years. On top of that I also got a partial tuition fee waiver of 35% on my first year as a merit scholarship. It is up to 90% for some of my friends too! There are other scholarships too, for sports and girl children, defense quota and so on. The amounts vary, but I think it is specified in their brochure. There are no such scopes for on campus jobs as we are encouraged to invest our time on academic pursuits.

Campus Life

4

Our campus is bright and colorful and perfectly complements the intense academic environment in the classrooms which enhances our overall experience. What I like best is that there are numerous playgrounds for various sports such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis as well as indoor games like Carrom, Flying Hockey, Pool and Chess and such. An evening with friends is really fun. We have separate AC and Non-AC hostel for boys and girls with furnished rooms. There are a number of student clubs that we can be a part of too and we celebrate a number of festivals throughout the year as well. I have made the campus my second home. Oh, there is also and amazing gym and buses for easy transport around campus.

In the 3rd year of law college students become eligible for campus placements. They are many companies such as Khaitan and Co., AZB and partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. , etc and many more. Highest package of Khaitan and Co goes upto 140000-160000 per year. In our college 80-90 percent of students get interships placements. My plans after degree to go in a corporate law firm and specifically in the Khaitan and Co for better experience and learning new skills.

I had selected because I wanted to do some research in this field. There are 50% boys and 50% girls in my course. All the professors of the department are well educated and come from top institutes of India. Exam happened at the period of every six months, which are quite tough for those who don't attend their classes regularly.
