The institute is a department of a state-run university and provides good education with great focus on research activities. The location is somewhat remote but the campus still provides all facilities such as a huge library with books, research articles and online journals. Also, the institute supports extracurricular participation in sports and socio-cultural events.

The course curriculum is good and provides insight enough to work in industries as well as in research institutions. The faculties are easily approachable, knowledgeable and supportive. The faculties can be approached with doubts and curiosity outside of course for guidance.

The campus offers placements depending upon the opted course. The placements are a bit on the lower side as the institute is new in comparison with peer institutions. Some major recruiters include Adani Wilmar, Nilon's, Asian Paints, Nerolac, Berger, etc.

The institute being state-run, provides scholarship and freeship opportunities to all students and the fees structure is also structured in a way that helps students coming financially weak backgrounds to focus and gain education with ease. The campus jobs are a bit on the lower side since the institute is new in comparison with peer institutions.

The life on the campus is great with emphasis on sports, social and cultural events. The campus is spread over an area of 650 acres in Jalgaon. The infrastructure includes Wifi in institute buildings, water and canteen facilities as well as in-campus hostel facilities.
