The university is for rural and meritorious students. It is a 6 years integrated course. First 2 years it is PUC and next four years it is B.Tech course. The teaching methodology it follows is Learning by Doing approach . Students from different districts and even from NRI's also come and study here. It provides free hostel for the selected studenst. As, I am from rural and reservation background, I get fees reimbursement from the AP govt, at the end of my studies I need to pay around 36,000 rupee only. Whenever you join I provides free Laptop and accessories for 6 years. It has great resource for doing anything. So, I have choosed this as my option.

Curriculum and Academics are up to IIT standards. Labs and projects are also involved in the curriculum to provide hands on experience for the students. and the Faculty are Student friendly. They always help students by providing good career guidance. Faculty is available for anytime. They also live in the campus only.

There are good number of opportunities for placements. From B.Tech 3rd year onwards students are eligible to sit for placements. There are students who has cracked the All India Gate But, the thing here is, it does not guarantee to get 100% placement, it's completely depend on the student.

generally, the AP government provides the fees reimbursement for the candidates. After cutting all these at the end the student need to pay max 70,000 if he/she is from OC, below 40,000 for other candidates. Also there are plenty ways to assist this fee through participating in many competitions. There is a scholarship program called BIG help, it gives some amount as scholarship for the selected students. Coming to campus job, it is the responsibility of the student to grab the opportunity, of course the Administration bring more companies to campus.

The campus life is wonderful. At first we came as Strangers, Now we are like a family. Definitely the life at RGUKT is memorable and great. It has high infrastructure, digital classrooms , laptops, AC classes and Student oriented programs like Techzite, Cignus, Helping hands, YOGA, Sports and culturals like Dance, folks, singing, Higher Education cell and Competitive cells etc. You can definitely fell how these 6 years are spent easily.

Basically, Admission is given for the students who got more than 95% in their SSC and there is special category seats for Sports, NCC candidates. They call the selected candidates for the Counseling, once it is completed, after the verification of certificates, it gives the admission.
