I got admission through COMEDK . COMEDK exam was removed in 2015 and thereafter only NEET qualified students are allowed to join there

I always loved this profession.My college had a good number of experienced professors who taught us through all possible methods such as demonstration classes, specimen discussions, live case discussions . We had 3 internal exams every year and yearly external exams.Obviously, MBBS exams are difficult to pass, but overall it is easy to pass for practicals in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and in final year passing theory and practicals are equally difficult, which means you need to put a lot of hardwork in it.

You can work in any hospital you wish after completion of the internship period, provided you have the state medical council registration.Starting salary is minimum 30k per month . There is scope for online jobs as wel. Teleconsultation can be done through apps like practo.

As you know, this course has no campus placement, but you can start working after passing the final year University exams and have completed one year of internship certified with professional degree certificate followed by registration in the particular State medical council of the state where you want to work

Total cost of the course through COMEDK is 1450000.If you get admission through CET ( state entrance test) it is somewhere around 10k per year. This was the case in 2014. But now the admission is only through NEET.

Every year in November ,we have culturals , where there is competitions conducted in various categories , in which even the postgraduate students and professors used to participate. Cosplay contest is conducted yearly, in which participation of professors is the best part.KIMS Night is another event which is sponsored by the house surgeons of that year .Talking about sports, there is KIMS Premier League for cricket, KIMS Football team and even for volleyball .

Admission was based on the rank secured in COMEDK. No more interviews or tests were there. Allotment letter was given after the counselling procedure.COMEDK syllabus was same as state UG entrance test.
