It is good in its extracurricular activities just like it is good in its education. The university has a very good infrastructure and the facilities are worth the money we pay. They also provide internships and placements as well in reputed hospitals.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum consists of theoretical as well as a number of practicals. There are a lot of courses to opt from as your optional subjects or specializations. There is also an internship that is compulsorily included in the course.
Placement Experience
Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences provides students many great opportunities all around the year. There is an internship provided by the college for the students. Further, there are many firms in which you can apply for the post of a doctor as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The duration of the BACHELOR OF MEDICINE, BACHELOR OF SURGERY course of 5 years, and 6 months with the fee being around ?1.15 Lakhs per year. The fee is very less and if some students find it high, they can apply for scholarships also based on their merit score.
Campus Life
We have drama, dance, music, fine arts, debate, literature, photography, , robotics, etc. Clubs on the campus actively organizes events, workshops, and competitions. College also have hockey, football, athletics, cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, snooker, squash, table tennis, volleyball, badminton and swimming pool facilities
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel facility also provided for the students for an extra amount of ?36.5 k. Water facilities are good and all-time fit drinking water with a filtering and cooling facility is present on each floor. Hostel mess present for lunch and dinner as well.
Admission
You must be 10+2 qualified with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects and must have given Karnataka Government or COMED-K which is conducted by Consortium of Pvt Medical Colleges of Karnataka for all the students in Karnataka and other states of India
Faculty
The teachers of the college are very cooperative. They are highly qualified and have undergone a lot of training which gives them a great experience. They have amazing control over their subject as well.
