Remarks

All girls engineering college. Lots of extra cirrivular activities to choose from. College is autonomus so many subjects are taught with practicle based learning approach. Excellent campus placements. Students here come from various different backgrounds hence there is lot of diversity on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Student to faculty ratio is good. Faculty is available to clarify doubts and questions always. 3 exams per semester, usually each exam lasts about a week. If you are well versed with the subjects, the exams are easy to clear.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are excellent. Every year almost all the departments record 100% placements. For mechanical department specifically the highest package offerd is between 10-12 LPA. Companies like Boeing, Mercedez Benz, Honeywell, Baxter, Hero motocorp, Forbes Marshall etc. Visit for placements every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Scholarship options are available for students belongang to lower income categories under some college schemes. Usually fees are increased by 10% every year. Unfortunately no fee concession or scholarship option is available for students belonging to the general category.

Campus Life

Lot of extracirriculars to choose from in both technical as well as non technical domain. We have a student panel that organizes the annual cultural fest(Gandhaar) , tech fest(Innovation) and the sports fest (Pinaccle) every year.

Admission

No. Admissions happen through the DTA portal. No extra interview or written test is necessary. The indivisual PCM category marks and total % of 12th score is needed for admission. CET is a mandatory criteria for admission. The cut offs for admissions to different branches are mentioned on the DTE website.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

My real experience till now at Cummins college

I can get PICT on my percentile but I prefer this college due to some my reasons first reason I thought that it is a girls college companys comehere for maintaining their girls vs boys ratio and secondly I thought there would be less compition but after coming here I realised there is same competition and intrenship opportunity which are provided in Cummins but i here it is not provided it PICT although both college are good I didn't get COEP pune CS which i included in my list due to my percentile is 99.10 as i only want to do CS We can take admission here by Entrance exam JEE mains and MHT CET but fees structure with JEE will be different and many other criteria also admission process is known as CAP process with which I take admission here...Read More
