My favourite journey

I have applied BIT MESRA JAIPUR EXTENSION CENTRE at their website from Google search. There is proper registration with fees of rs. 1500 in month of may yo June. But I went their in last week because I was waiting any better college from JEE MAINS exam. In spot round they will give you a form their Institute on the day of spot round to fill your choices of branch you want to take and make you wait until the results come. You have to go with your DD of first admission fees. You will get your preferences on the basis of JEE MAINS AIRs and 12th Marks.

I choose electrical engineering because I want to prepare for government jobs after my graduation. I admitted in college on 31st day if August and everybody is sitting in section based on round of spot admission they have came. I got section C, last round of spot admission. Every branch is collectively sit in first semester as subjects are same in first semester. Faculty is great in their field not IIT level standards but yes you can make best use and learn. There is two mid semester and then at last end semester and there were laboratory practices whose exam are taken at last before end semester. At first I was not so good at everything is so much of high standards engineering level but there is pattern of previous year paper make use if YouTube Google in your self study then you can easily achieve more than average also I understood this in my 3rd year.

No internship particularly except summer training by professor for core branches. You have to find it and apply by yourself. You may can take the help of placement officer also. Projects basically are a part of curriculum which is done under the supervision of any of the professor in the field you want to work.

After 3rd year, you can sit for placement. But for IT companies or any other you have yo BIR MESRA ranchi main campus because not all companies do come at extension centre. College do not bear any expenses of your travelling they just just provide dates timing related various updates. You have to go main campus, there they do provide accommodations at rs. 300 per day including all four time meal. Highest salary package can be 40lac also as various 1st tier big companies like Microsoft, Delloitte come. There are so many options available anyone who want can get placed even at extensions also. I working in one of the MNC also.

Fees is increasing every year. There is no as such any scholarship except for SC /ST financial assistance in the name of GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP only for meritorious SC/ST. Several students taken loan after first year.

There is nothing in the name of engineering college infrastructure no playground, no big canteen. Dont expect to much. There is gym which sometimes opens, small canteen with less variants than expected, library which only contain mostly engineering books and net lab but yes required amount of mandatory laboratory for every departments. There are extra curricular activities fest happens in college called vibration which is cultural fest, cavorts a sports fest and techfest a technical fest happens in same order whole year. There are classrooms some have AC or some dont have, projector in each classroom with yes ofcourse greenboard.

No there is group discussions or written tests or any interviews. All this happen in MBA students. Admission is solely based on jee MAINS Marks only and 12th marks is just a criteria to become eligible for admission in Institute.
