Firstly NCHM JEE exam then on the basis of your rank you have been given choices to select colleges across India and I have selected Delhi and Chandigarh IHM's. Fortunately, I got AIHM Chandigarh and about the course, it is a three-year degree program i.e. Bs.c in hospitality and hotel administration. Also, you get a hostel on a merit basis, only the top 60 students rank-wise get the hostel. And if you have a quota there are 10 seats for OBC and SC and for ST there are 5 seats rest seats for the hotel are for general category students. The college infrastructure is very good and teachers are well experienced. You should have more than 60% marks in English if you want to get admission to IHM and you should have all the documents during document verification. I chose this course because I always wanted to become a chef from my school days and this course gives enough education and practice a person needs and one of the best chefs in India was from this college so I selected this course. Teachers are very much experienced and know how to teach students and handle them and how to provide the best education to students. There are more than enough teachers in college. Term exams are actually not difficult if you were good in school then you should pass this too and also practicals are easy if you attend classes and give assessments on time.

All the major hotel companies give their offer for students to intern at their hotels and they get selected by the interviews And the stipend is given every month for around 4 months and stipend starts from 1500 to 6000 depends upon the hotel. You get to learn all core departments of the hotel practically, you work as an employee and give your everything to company and get all the experience of working as the trainee.

Form semester 5 you are eligible for campus placements and then the companies start to come and hire the candidates Companies like IHG, Taj, Hyatt, Accor, Radisson, Oberoi's and big hotel companies, and QSR companies like McDonald's, KFC, dominos also come for placements. The highest package is around 4,50,000 annually and the average package is around 230000 per annum. 95% of students get placed during the 6th semester. Plans after the degree were to work and study at the same time.

The fees structure is fine according to other private colleges and the quality education this college provides so the fees should not be the factor as private HM colleges fees are double than this and they provide scholarships to economically weaker students also About jobs and placements during 2019-20 there were about 60 companies came for placements and it depends upon a person that he has to perform well in every aspect of the company to grab the opportunity and get placements in the best companies.

There are a lot of events that happen in college which is coordinated by student teams and all the arrangements are made by students and teachers are the guests and the students are provided with marks on the basis of the events and we participate at different events of the city. There are 3 types of clubs and they are core bases on departments of hotel like f&b club kitchen club and organizing club and they work for college and make sure every event run smoothly and help in coordinating the events of the college.

In hostel rooms, they are triple sharing rooms and each individual gets a separate beds chair and study table and also one personal almirah and 2 common washrooms on a floor of 10 rooms The food is good in terms of hygiene and quantity and the taste is also fine. During documents verification, you are been asked if you want to opt for a hostel and on the basis of merit gets the hostel The locality pg starts from 5000 per month and the rented rooms cost around 10000-15000 per month and you can share it with your friends and all.
