Remarks
I m currently studying in NIST. A good college but not that good. Outsiders have less chance of quota for admission. Min marks and age for admission is 75% and 16 respectively. Generally, the admission is given on the basis of marks obtained in JEE mains and ojee,
Course Curriculum Overview
Some suprise test before mid sem and after mid sem. Lost of works. and after that end sem.i took cse because I heard it gives best placement in cse. Some faculty are too good and some are worst in behavior but the teaching is moderate
Internships Opportunities
Big companies like Wipro, Amazon Come in this. But still on campus placement are not that good when compared to off-campus placement. There are project given to complete, but Very few get a good job
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement after the 7th sem. Many companies visited but last year there was no placement. The highest package is 18 lakhs and avg is 4-5 lakh. You should have a min of 8 cgpa to get a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently, I m studying. Total fees are about 6 lakhs including the hostel and neglecting the mess fees. And outsiders have less chance of getting any scholarships or quota. But still, It is a good less expensive college.
Campus Life
Mainly SANKALP and WAVES are organized every year in which all the year's students can participate. The college has a library which is good and large. Classroom amenities is good, There is also a gym for hostelers. And other indoor games in hostels
Hostel Facilities
The only a sweeping facility is provided in the room weekly. Food is not good but you can survive. You just have to fill a form to avail a room And there is 5 member in each room. There are few shops outside the college.
