Remarks

I wanted to pursue my MBA in Marketing, and IMT Nagpur is considered a good college for the marketing industry also provides placements with a good package. To get admission to the college you have to clear two rounds of GD-PI. In GD there were 10 students and 2 panellists who evaluate you and after that, there is a PI round in which they ask generic questions that appealed more to common sense and some general knowledge questions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

IMT is considered as one of the best colleges for the marketing area, with great teaching faculty and a friendly environment. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30 in our college. The faculties are highly knowledgeable and approachable. The college has a very strict academic calendar with midterms and ends terms examinations conducted as scheduled.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college provides ample opportunities for students to sc=ecure a summer internship. There are several companies' visits to campus for the internship also providing a stipend to the students as per the role given to them in their companies. Also, the projects are given to the students based on their departments and their area of interest.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for the placements from the 2nd year, while some get a PPO from their internship based on their performance. The average package is about 8 lac and the highest package is 15 lacs in our college. Additionally, the institute makes sure that students are well prepared for the interviews, they conduct mock interviews for better preparation with helpful information.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for two years is around 12 lac and have decent ROI with good campus life. There is no scholarship for the students. Summer internships and placements are provided by the campus. There are ample amount of opportunities in all domains.

Campus Life

4.5

We have an annual fest named Milestone 35 which is a national level fest, also various technical clubs in our college organize events in college from time to time, which is also done by college students. In the library, we have several books and journals which are helpful to the students and are easily available. There is a sports club run by students who organize various sports events in the gap of 2-3 months.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms have the capacity of two students and they are very spacious. The food also has good quality and very hygiene. The process of registration is of the hostel is very convenient, there is not a lot of work to be done. Overall it's a decent infrastructure.

Interview Experience

4

The topic of the GD was "Agriculture in India" for our group, there were different topics for different groups. After that, we had an interview round in which they were asking general questions about myself, my past experiences and there were some general knowledge questions too. To get admission to college everyone has to clear these two rounds. Pannel also check your confidence and knowledge of the current scenario.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
