Remarks

It is a reputed branch of IMT B Schools in central India after IMT Ghaziabad. This college is famous for its big campus and student diversity. The admission Process includes your exam score above the cutoff and then GDPI. One of the reasons for choosing this college is that it is near to my home city.

Course Curriculum Overview

I got selected for the Core PGDM course because I was not sure about was to choose between Finance and Marketing. So till the end of 1sy year, you can decide what do you want to choose. Faculties are well experienced and the whole program is divided into 6 semesters.

Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Internships Opportunities

IMT Nagpur provides 100% placement in Internships. Big companies like Crysil, Dalmia Group, etc along with startups visit campus Internship offers. They can be paid with stipends or unpaid. They can last up to 3 months.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, students are eligible for placements. BCG, Bane & Co., Morgan Stanley, P&G, etc. visit campus for placements. The average package goes up to 9 LPA, the highest went for around 16 LPA. No. of companies visit campus is more than 100.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for two years was around 11 lakhs including hostel and mess expenses. Now they have increased it to 12.10 lakhs. Many scholarships are provided for financial assistance one of which is students scoring above 90%tile get fees of 4 lakhs only.

Campus Life

Concord, MÃƒÂ©lange, M35, M34, Ranbhoomi, etc are famous fests that happen around the calendar. Books are given to each student on campus along with dedicated online resources. The library is open for students 24/7. Classrooms are modelled after IIM Ahmedabad.

Hostel Facilities

All the basic facilities are given to the student like a table, chair, cupboards and a bed. The meal quality is awesome. The mess provides you with 4-time meals with a variety of tasty and healthy food. There is no such registration process for a hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, I got the call for GDPI after my exams. The topic was of rising of Automation is service sectors. Interview questions were mainly based on my resume. Panel consist of faculties only. A good score with a positive approach in GDPI can cement your selection chances.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Less fees good Roi.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent good because as per the fees it will gives us 6lpa as a average package it is good Roi as per my opinion. There are maximum company related to banks and startups and mainly for Marketing roles. My plans for after degree to get placed with good package.

Placement Experience:

In semester 4 students are eligible for placements. Many companies like ICICI BANK, AXIS BANK and many compnay visited this for placement. Percentage of student getting placed is 80%. My plan is to get placed in college.

Experience at ASM IBMR

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

PG Life at SSBF

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Study Hard, Play Harder and Prove Yourself.

Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country. It's a state-of-the-art centre with lakhs of books which caters to all your curiosity and explanation.
