A brief review for IILM

So, being a student of biotechnology, I have always dreamt of pursuing research in the healthcare sector. So after my higher secondary school, I searched for colleges based in Uttar Pradesh for biotechnology. So all we know that biotechnology is a blooming branch, and very few colleges are offering this course. So after a thorough R&D for colleges, I have decided to opt for IILM GREATER NOIDA. They are offering scholarships based on 12th marks, so I got the scholarship and admission here. And my journey of IILM begins from here. Pros of this college- As this college is offering a B.tech(biotechnology) program since 2002. It is a well-known place for this program only. The labs are good, and the faculty are so helpful. They motivate the student to excel in their studies and extracurricular activities. College management tried their best to help the students in every way possible. Cons- College infrastructure needs to be changed a lot. The placement needs to upgrade.

The faculty here are so helpful and motivating. They want their students to excel in their studies as well as extra curriculum activities. The college has a good number of teachers. Teachers are research drive and highly qualified. Exam pattern - They conduct sectionals every month for the assessment of students. The exams were up to the syllabus.

It all depends on the teachers involved with career and placement. The cell involved checks which student needs to go where. Sometimes it also depends on your terms with the concerned faculty. Students got internships in: CSIR LABS HIMALAYA COMPANY GOVT. LABS PHARMACEUTICALS COMPANIES COCA-COLA COMPANY ETC.

The campus placements need to be upgraded a lot. Only a few companies. Visit the campus and the students were sent to the pool. Campus Drive. I remember in my 4 the year only/4-5 companies visited the campus, otherwise all pool campus. The average placement is 2-2.8lacs per annum.

In the first year, I got a 100% scholarship based on my 12th marks. After this the scholarship depends on the %, I got in the upcoming semesters. Indeed I got a 25-30% of scholarship in all first three years of my B.tech program.

Annual fest- Tech fest. The classroom was too old school. All the groups and clubs were managed by teachers. There are sports and extracurricular activities and as well. The library has enough numbers of books. But it all depends on first come first service.

The hostel of IILM was best in the entire greater noise. It is the best part of IILM college. The infrastructure, the facilities are best. I stayed in the hostel for my whole B.tech program. And trust me I won't regret it. The hostel mess menu is full of dishes. Their menu changes every fortnight so the students don't get bored of the same food. For accommodation, you need to opt for hostel accommodation, while filling your admission formalities.
