Remarks

I have not taken admission in another college because BB college is one of the best college (A-rated) in Bardhaman district if you want to persue with your honours course and provides opportunities to thousands of students to show their excellence. You have to score atleast 65% in your higher secondary to be eligible for admission. The college releases an online form every year in the month of July or August. Students who want to apply for admission must fill the form and submit the documents required for verification. Once you are selected you have to pay the admission fees within the given date and you are done with your admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have chosen this course because history is a multifaced discipline that will increase your cultural awareness and moral understanding of the world we live in. By studying history you will gain a range of transferable skills from informed citizenship and critical thinking to research and general awareness. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 which follows the guidelines of the KAZI NAZRUL UNIVERSITY. Most of the faculties in our college hold a PhD Degree with first class at Bachelor's or a Masters degree in their respective branch and have experience of more than eight years in teaching and research. Exams are conducted 2 times every semester by our university and are not that much hard to pass them.

Placement Experience

5

There are high competitions for getting a job because most of the companies hire students having a minimum Masters Degree or above. While the rest of the students opt for higher studies or prefer to prepare for exams required for higher studies. As competition is very high almost 50% of the students get selected in the campus placements. I will continue to persue with my higher studies and after completing my masters I will opt for phd as I want to go for research in the field of history.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study in the college is quite affordable and most of the basic requirements are provided by the college for free. Students who are not able to afford the college fees fall under the criteria of economically weak and are provided student loan or financial assistance by the college.

Campus Life

5

Annual fest and tech fests are organised every year. Students from technology background show their projects and prizes are organised for the students with the best projects. Our library has tens of thousands of books and plenty of journals are available. The library is open 24 — 7 for all the students and teachers and provides thousands of books required by them. Sports activities are held every month and our college trains hundreds of thousands of students to take part in the district, state and national level sports competitions. Several social groups are run by our college and the most popular of them is the Yuba Samaj Seva group funded by our college and also raises funds for social activities like blood donation camps, a donation in relief camps, helps to arrange food and shelter for the homeless and several other social work activities.

Who gets admitted in which course is completely a personal matter. No matter which course one gets admitted in, studies are good in all the courses. There are many experienced teachers in this college. Exam time is 3 hours. Teachers always help students in their studies.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
