My college is best in my eyes

The English department of this college is quite good because this is a Christian College. Official staffs are not helping too much and not much communicative that's why it's a problem for the whole college. Technically somehow it's down. But the faculty members are great. After completing class 12 you can apply for this college. I'll recommend you this college because it's in proper south Kolkata and also have a hostel facility. I've chosen this course in this college because this is Christian College and also A accredited. There are 37-40 students in our department and there are 5 teachers. The principal is also a faculty member of the English department. Every teacher has done their PhD so we've qualified and experienced professors. As this is under semester system after 6months the semester happens and it's not so difficult to pass because faculty members are providing us our valuable study materials with their recorder lectures

Internshala is providing us the internships. They offered spoken English classes, summer camps programs, Computer language training like Python, C++, Java. Other than that they provide other extracurricular activity classes at a very cheap rate. They also provide certificates once we complete the course. It's a very cheap course with online classes.

There is no campus placement available for students directly. Students basically complete this course from the college because they want to have a graduation certificate and they wanted to apply for a job. I want to become an HR of a reputed company that's why I've completed English Hons from this college.

Admission fees in 5500/- max and semester fees will be 2K-3K. So this is a friendly amount but other colleges under the University of Calcutta are a little bit cheaper than this amount. We haven't received any scholarship from this college but this college offers internship programmes from Internshala and also has a computer laboratory from the web.

They conducted an annual fest and tech fest in the month of September. The college has its own library. After having the membership they provide you library cards and you can read as many books as you want. They also provide you those books for your home. They have audio-visual classrooms where we not only have textual education but also see it directly through the internet. They've vocational courses from sucharu and also they provide internships as well as have computer laboratory. Annual sports are arranged on January after winter vacation. They've their own movie club, NSS which are run by college students itself
