Remarks

The college faculty is very good is every sense the amount of interaction which happens with faculty is very good overall its a college which will make your college years a memorable one.

Entrance Preview

NATA exam, Score-98 the admission process was online according to the the marks acquired the reason to chose architecture was my interest towards arts.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure gives u lot of options for research .The elective which we have are, Conservation, Sustainable, Digital, Set design, Earthquake resistant, Interior.

Internships Opportunities

No college does not provide internship the students have to find their own internship.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is not that active in college the students have to find there own jobs.

Foundation day, Freshers, Guru pornima, Birthday of professor, Induction Cultural-the most amazing part of year a 3 day long event.

Expensive payment of fees in the start of the year from 1-1.2.

The college hostel is average but there are many good pgs and hostels around the area of college.

The alumni network is pretty good and bullying of juniors the seniors are always very helpful and source of inspiration.

The exam structure is semester wise with project submission in first semester and written at the end of the year.

Faculty

The faculty is well qualified with mostly all professor qualified with March and practicing architects very enthusiastic about teaching and giving more knowledge to students and also giving personal attention.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

My college view

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

My college view

I got this college through cap rounds and was not my first priority , my first priority was sir JJ college and Rachana Sansad college of architecture at Mumbai and BKPS at Pune , but got this one on cap round basis as marks were less for that cutoff and also as I was not from their university.The admission process was very good and smooth all arrangements were made correct but electricity was not available for the prints and other stuff.
