Remarks
1) College produces good placements every year. At this time avg package that college produces is about 5LPA. 2) Clubs are like stars in-universe of this college. One of their technical club Innogeeks recently registered their achievement of winning smart India Hackathon. 3) 1st year is going to be a bit strict though. 4) Admission can be done via two ways, one is currently through Jee mains and other one is through management quota. 5) College is currently among of top3 colleges under AKTU which comes under UP Gov. 6) Fees is quite low here as comparable to other colleges .
Course Curriculum Overview
1) I chose CSE in Btech cause of the high demand and for my interest. 2) Faculty to student ratio is quite good though. 3) Faculties are experienced and passed out from reputed institutes. 4) Some of the professors are doing quite well in teaching well. 5) But in the end real learning has to be done by you only which is self-learning. 6) 2 internal assessments happen every semester which are quite average and not that hard to score.
Placement Experience
1) From 6th-semester students become eligible to sit on placements. 2) Various good product-based companies visit Kiet like AMAZON, BYJUS, KORNOS with some service-based big MNC like INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, WIPRO, etc.. 3) Currently highest at year 2021 is of 27lacs in Flipkart. And there are almost 70-80 students who got placed at more than 10LPA+ in companies like amazon, adobe, byjus, code nation, kornos etc. 4) Avg package lies between 4.5-5.5 LPA. 5) Almost 90% of students get placed after the course. 6) Well most of the placements which are of 10+LPA are under off campus .
Fees and Financial Aid
1) Fees is totally capped by AKTU which is under UP GOV. 2) So college cant increase or decrease fees by its own. 3) Hence, the hike is normal and expected of 7-8k in every year. 4) There are some fee waiver seats through where one can be done with his BTech in less than a lac for 4 years. 5) fee waiver seats offered through Aktu counseling via cutoffs
Campus Life
1) KIET conducts an annual fest every year. Well, cause of covid we are still deprived of this fun. 2) Library of Kiet is superb. One can find all types of books there. 3) Amenities in class are satisfactory. 4)KIET has 1 big ground for cricket, football, 1 lawn tennis court, and 1 badminton court. 5) There are several clubs in KIET. One of them is INNOGEEKS which is highly famous in DELHI Ncr cause of its achievements.
Interview Experience
1) There are no such rounds like GD and interview if you are coming via counseling. 2) KIET conducts a small internal test for admission for those who want to come via management quota where almost every student gets passed and then they got allotment of seats as per their % .
