Great experience and learning

One of the major reason for choosing this college was its location and campus life. It's near to my hometown so the commute is easy for me. For the admission process, I visited campus for a written ability test (WAT) and a PI with two faculty members.

The curriculum is well designed for students of all the streams and one gets a lot of industrial exposure through webinars, guest lectures, panel discussions and an industrial visit from time to time. The whole curriculum is divided into 6 trimesters with a maximum of 8 subjects in all trimester and only 2 in the last trimester. The faculty prepares the students for placement as well by conducting mock GD's and PI. The faculty uses real-life examples to comprehend a given problem.

The summer internship is usually offered in retail stores (including profiles like Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, merchandise planner etc) or logistics. You might have to give a PI for a summer internship as well. Some companies take students on basis of their profile.

Campus placements usually start from the 5th trimester. College starts preparing the students for placement in the 4th trimester. The companies that usually come for campus placements are ABFRL, Infosys, oppo, ICICI, L&T, Wipro etc. The placement rate is 90% and the average package is about 6-7 lakh. The highest being 9 lakh.

The fee structure is divided into two parts. The program fees are different for all students and the hostel fee is the same for all streams. The college offers scholarship to 2 students from each program who perform best in each trimester.

The college has various clubs and conduits for each activity. And the selection of each is dependant on students of the previous batch. The library is quite the highlight in the college and has the best interior. The classrooms are well equipped with speakers, screen, air conditioning, mic and lot's of chairs and table to maintain social distancing.

All the students stay in campus hostels. Boys hostel is a km away from the main campus and they generally commute through college bus which keeps taking rounds according to the timetable. The girls are all supposed to take accommodation inside the campus. The hostel room has a bed, table chair, almirah, fan, air conditioner/heater and a side table.

Yes, the admission process for each call is different. I went for the second call so I had to take a Written ability test (WAT) and 10-15 mins of PI to get admission to the college. The topic of WAT was generic like relations between China and India. Do prepare why you want a particular college course, they might ask. Try to relate it to your aim.
