IMT Nagpur Review

IMT Nagpur is known best for its MBA in Marketing. The faculty here has the industry experience and is able to guide the students accordingly. There are various committee, clubs, and forums which are student-driven and help students understand the true meaning of responsibility, especially the freshers. The placements are decent. The institute conducts Mock Interviews with the help of Alumni of the college, which is not a common practice in many colleges. The admission took place via two-step process - entrance exam followed by an interview process. I came to know about the college through various online platforms.

The flagship course of IMT Nagpur is Marketing and placements for the same are decent. The faculty here has the industry experience and still publishes research papers every now and then. Even during pandemic, the college was to able to conduct the processes online efficiently.

For finance, the college needs to really bring better and more companies. As far as marketing is considered decent companies arrived for recruitment. But students were unhappy with the kind of roles offered during internships. Very few companies offered stipends.

The placements are decent. Recently new placement coordinator is appointed so the hopes have increased. She has promised to bring better companies than the previous year. After her appointment, good companies for internships have also arrived.

The administration refunded close to Rs 35000 which is still less than what was actually paid. But anyways pandemics happened all over the country, ours was no exception. The internships which come to college are mostly not paid. The course is a little expensive.

The various committees, clubs, and forums help understand the value of time, communication, and responsibility. There are group projects too. The books for this year were sent by the college to all students. Melange, M35, Netritva, etc are several events conducted by the college for various purposes

It is very expensive considering the facilities provided. The quality of food is decent. Rooms are affordable but could be improved. Rest the campus is okay. But smaller than expected. It is a beautiful campus with a lush green lawn

During the admission process, group activity was conducted followed by an interview. The entrance exam is considered for the selection process. The college faculty reviews everything and supervises the whole process.
