Remarks

The most important aspect of the college is the industry-institute Linkage and the placements. The bad aspect is that it is located at the outskirts of the city. Students need to clear the cut-off percentile. Upon clearing the cut-off percentile, students are called for GD/PI sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course structure for the 1st year MBA students is the same. The major agenda is to introduce the budding managers to the basics of each and every management aspect like Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. Faculties are all Ph.D holders and most of them have good industry experience. Exams are conducted on a semester basis and if you study thoroughly you can ace the examination with flying colors.

Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are there for students. Many companies come from Summer Internship Program. Only a few provide stipends on the basis of your performance. However, you have the option to arrange the internships on your own.

Placement Experience

Placement is decent in IBS Hyderabad. Most of the regular recruiters are banks, IT consultancies, audit firms, etc. The average placement is 7-8 lakhs. The highest package is offered by Zenoti. Every student gets placement from the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is mentioned in the brochure. If there is a hike in fee structure, it will be informed well in advance. Scholarship opportunities are there for those who have an excellent academic record.

Campus Life

Students love to visit this green campus. There are ample opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. You will be introduced to various clubs on the basis of different domains. So, you can join any of them on the basis of your interests. Various inter-college festivals and fests will take place where students get the opportunity to participate.

Hostel Facilities

This 2 year MBA program is residential. Both twin and single sharing rooms are available for students. Mess facility is available and meals are provided three times a day which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Interview Experience

GD/PI process is the final screening process to secure your seat at IBS Hyderabad. Most of the GD topics are from Current Affairs. PI will comprise of questions from. your educational background, recent business news, and work experience if any.

I think MBA was good structure in the market. But if the students was completing MBA through this college was not worth in the market. Because they can't teach according to the latest technology. IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Masters from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around 1000. I had to submit 12th marksheet in which I scored 82%, graduation marksheet with 78% and appeared for CAT exam scoring 150 and deposited documents supprting work experience for at least 2 years. IBS at its best

My admission process started after i had filled up the college form. The forms are available online as well as offline. The cost of the application fee was INR 2000, after which i was called for an interview on a given date. During this time i paid another INR 20,000 and the admission was based on merit of my class 12 performance with the minimum requirement being 60% with no admission test required for my BBA program. During the interview, I was asked about why I wanted to take BBA and study here. My session started somewhere in the month of July and along with the 1st semester fees i also had to pay a security deposit of INR 10,000 which was to be refunded after my completion of the course....Read More
