Remarks

PROS of joining IMT-N - ROI is pretty good as the average placements goes around 7-9LPA. - Student driven campus and campus life. - Strong alumni network of IMT. - Being part of committees, clubs, forums and student ventures helps in overall personality development. - Faculties and academics are at par with current industry requirements. CONS - Location disadvantage. Admission Process- Group exercise and PI. Time4education.com helped me in selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

- I chose PGDM Marketing as I'm interested in that domain. Also I have work experience in sales & marketing field. - Faculty: Student ratio : 1:15. - Most of the faculty are PhD holders and have years of teaching experience with top b-schools. - Teaching method is usually made interactive & case-based approach is followed. - Term exams were held every 2-3 months duration. A combination of AOL & End term made the exam level moderate on the difficulty parameter.

Internships Opportunities

4

For Batch 2019-21. - Top companies such as CRISIL, Jio Studios, Bata, Haldiram's, The Hackett Group, IDBI Federal, Zomato offered internships. - Due to the ongoing pandemic scenario, some companies did not offer stipends. - Prominent Profiles as an Intern were in - Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Business Analyst, HR, etc. - Highest Stipend = Rs. 50,000 p.m. - Average Stipend = Rs. 14,000 p.m.

Placement Experience

4

- Students become eligible for campus placements from Term IV i.e. when they enter into the second year of MBA based on their CGPA till Term III. - Regular recruiters: Schneider Electric, Deloitte, Crisil, KPMG, Berger Paints, etc. - New recruiters: Tech Mahindra, Scaler, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Practo, Adani Wilmar, etc. - Number of companies visited = 90+ - Highest package = 16 LPA, Average package = 7.86 LPA - Percentage of students getting placements = 90%.

There are other scholarships for female candidates, EWS category and mid-program one for 2nd year students. - Placement Committee makes no stone unturned in bringing the best of the companies to campus for internship opportunities (with stipend too).

Campus Life

5

Life at the campus is the most amazing experience of IMT Nagpur. The lush green campus, the sports facilities, and the infrastructure are really spectacular. ANNUAL FEST Milestone35: two-day National-level Cultural event (January) Melange: two-day annual Alumni meet (September) Drishticone: two-day CxO level Management Conclave by Corporate Interaction Committee (January) Ranbhoomi: two-day annual Sports meet (September) TECH FEST Concord: three-day annual national Management Olympics (January) Learning Resource Center(LRC), a dedicated library facility, has a rich collection of books, journals, e-journals, corporate and industry information, and many research databases. All classrooms have AC, tiered seating arrangements, and projectors. Outdoor Sports facilities - football ground, cricket pitch, volleyball court, basketball court, lawn tennis ground, badminton court. Indoor sports - carrom board, chess & table tennis, Gymnasium. Clubs- Toastmasters, Zimfonia- music club.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are provided on a twin-sharing basis and single occupancy depending upon the need. Facilities- personal study table, chair, cupboard, cozy bed, common bathroom, hot water, etc. The meal quality is pretty decent as we get nutritious food available throughout the entire week. Facilities- separate floor for veg and non-veg dining, kitchen with modern steam cooking, bakery, ice-cream making unit, RO water, etc. Since IMT Nagpur is a fully residential campus, staying in the hostel is mandatory for all the students.

Interview Experience

4.5

I faced group exercise and personal interview. Group Exercise: Creating a campaign poster to solve a national level socio-environmental issue. Interview questions: Work experience related, general awareness, current affairs, hobbies, why MBA and why IMT. Selection criteria: entrance exam score, past academics, work-experience , group exercise & PI and academic diversity. Preparation for rounds: Going through current affairs and discussing with friends, keeping thorough knowledge about my profile and work-ex.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
