Remarks

Nagpur is near to my hometown of Indore. IMT Nagpur is one of the famous Bschool in central India. It has a big campus area along with nice amenities. The admission process involves cutoff of the exams like CAT, XAT, and CMAT, and then PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the marketing PGDM course because I am interested in it. The course provided here is thorough and depth along with all the resources provided. Faculties are very practical oriented and teach in-depth.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All students are placed for a summer internship program. College provides decent companies for internship projects. Good job roles are provided to the students with decent stipends. The internship period is of around 2-3 months.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is decent. You have to work on yourself a lot. The highest package is provided for the marketing field. The highest package is 14 LPA. The average package is of 8 LPA. Lowest goes up to 5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of 2 years program is 12,10,000/- for 2 years including hostel and mess. If you are above 90%tiler in CAT, college waves your fees by 1/3rd. Another financial assistance is also provided for students.

Campus Life

Campus life is a blessing after graduation here. After daily classes, cultural, forum & committee works rejuvenates your mind. Many events happen throughout the year for both seniors and juniors. Classrooms are just like those of IIM A.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very clean and hygienic in all senses including cleanliness of the room, corridors, toilets, etc. All the basic amenities are provided to students. Mess food is delicious along with changing menu day by day.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Interview Experience

A personal Interview happened with me after getting shortlisted from my score. Interview questions were based on my resume including all the regular interview questions. It was a smooth process & the interview was taken by the faculties.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Faculties are very good and supportive always ready to help. it is easy to connect any faculties between 9 am to 7 pm and most of faculty leave in campus. Faculty always encourage the student to take part in extracurricular activities. Medical Facilities is available 24*7. The admin staff is also supportive. The college organises Guest session which is good for students betterment.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country.
