Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum involves the teaching of trade, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, operations for both domestic and international activities. Low faculty-student ratio. The majority of the faculty is PhD. It has many well-known people as professors in the past. Exams are always conducted on time as it is Delhi University. Most subjects have 70+30 partition for marks where 30 marks are calculated on the basis of class tests, assignments and attendance and there is a final exam for 70 marks.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides summer internship opportunity to every student and all the students can also apply on their own. They have both the options to go with if they want to be placed through campus, then it's good, if not they can also opt to find out on their own. Not many colleges provide both these. But IMT Nagpur gives you a chance to be in both options.

Placement Experience

Placements are good if we look at them on an ROI basis. The average package is around 6-7 lakh and the highest package is 16 lakh. year by year more and more companies visiting campus and taking part in the recruiting process. The median package is 5.5 lakh. If you perform good in college, competitions, and your profile suits the recruiter, you might get a good placement. In the starting years, salary doesn't matter, if you get a chance to work in a big company, then your life is set.

Fees and Financial Aid

Internship opportunities were not as good as expected as we got hit by Covid-19 during our first year. Many students had to find internships on their own and some had to even do unpaid Internships. But the placements were very much better.

Campus Life

Milestone 34 and Milestone 35 (events). Concorde (annual academic forum fest). And different fest and events from different clubs and committees. The very participating atmosphere in this and one can surely enjoy.

Hostel Facilities

Student-driven college and seasoned marketing faculty. The location was good and 50-80 company participate in the placements. Student-run business ventures, committee and forum also play important roles in the individual's development.

Interview Experience

3.5

Topics of GD were mostly current affairs oriented like Smart cities etc. It is generally conducted in groups of 6-8. Preparing for these rounds is similar to other MBA colleges with a good knowledge of India and its business practices.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Faculties are very good and supportive always ready to help. it is easy to connect any faculties between 9 am to 7 pm and most of faculty leave in campus. Faculty always encourage the student to take part in extracurricular activities. Medical Facilities is available 24*7. The admin staff is also supportive. The college organises Guest session which is good for students betterment.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
