Course Curriculum Overview

The course cover more or less all related subject which is very relevant to my research area. 24 hours Lab facilities available for all researchers. World class library helping us to accesses all good book and journals. More than 10 billion books and 1000 international research journals(SCI) are available in the library.

Internships Opportunities

IIT provided the stipend for internship student to encourage their work.

College Events

College celebrated technical fest. cultural fest , Sports meet (Intra-IIT), Inter-IIT sports meet.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible PhD-30000 per semester (including hostel charges and mess charges). B.Tech-60000 per semester (including hostel charges and mess charges).

Faculty

The Faculties are very good in their academia. In addition, they are involving in the various extra curriculum. Most of the faculty are well established their research area and multiple publications in well-known international journals. The things encourage the students to do their best.

Best university for phd students with a great environment for research

Placement Experience:

Scholars became eligible for campus placement when the complete ther course, (while being in last year) yes companies do come for placements and highest package is 12LPA. 20 to 30 percent of the scholars get placement. I want to be an assistant professor.

Entrance exam and interview are held for the admission in PhD in Doon University. For admission in BSc and MSc, there is an entrance exam and counselling process. Because it is a government college. I choose this university. And there is hard-working staff also.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. To get into IIT's you have give jee mains and then advance and then you get your college according to your rank.
