Knowledge matters

I chose this university as it had a very good reputation at that time. I got to know about the college through some friends and since it had quite an impression and I expected to receive a lot of exposure it being in a city like Pune I decided to join this college.

Mine is 2015 course. I wish we had less of drafting and more of practical work. I did not receive knowledge about the various softwares through the college. When I joined this college there were great teachers but now hardly anyone of them are left. There are less to no curricular activities, workshops, competitions.

In 5th year one have to apply for internships in various architecture firms if you are called by them then you do 3-4 months of practice with them otherwise you can work with any faculty who can offer you internship and when you graduate you have three options either to work as a junior architect in a firm, appear for various government jobs for an architects post such as banks PWD or start your own firm

You do get opportunities to participate in sports and other activities through the University fest like Bhartiyam. There are various clubs of the University where you can give audition and get selected. But as if architecture college is concerned there is hardly anything that ever happens.

There are no scholarship opportunities or campus jobs. They might help you or guide you or even provide internships at their own firm but they do no provide exposure to the real world. They do not help anyone financially but students do have the option of education loan.

All the students and parents sit in a classroom then one by one they call students according to their rank. It's a first come first serve situation. So one have to make sure that they have all the documents ready with them. There was a PI kind of a situation where they called me and made sure that I had all the documents needed at the time of admission.
