College came under ministry of Power also much practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge, it comes under GGSIPU. University. Admission is through IPU CET exam generally in the month of June. Better placement and package.Campus of the college is in BADARPUR inside BTPS(Badarpur Thermal Power Station).More intrest in electrical sector than computer science and IT sector that's why I preffered this college.

More intrest in electrical sector than computer science and IT sector that's why I prefered this college. Faculty and professor were qualified and trained enough to guide the student in write direction.Student : teacher ratio is around 60:1. Exams are timely not much difficult to pass.

I did not opted for intership but Tata Power came in 3rd year for paid internship.There are not much option for paid internship but you can get unpaid internship/training in any power plant or distribution station in delhi itself such as in DTL, DELHI METRO, NTPC BADARPUR etc.

Students mostly focused on campus placement because power engineering is not much popular course and it has very limited vaccancy. Of not campus placement then it's very difficult to get the job from outside. Also you will not get job in tier 1/2 cities because most of the power sations or plants are located in the outskirts of the cities.

College doesn't have much extra curricular activities. Less focused on fest.Available of books and journals in library is more than sufficient.Classrooms are well equipped.Enactus and engineers without borders are two groups working in college.

Generally tution fee is around 1 lakh a year.Economically weaker section gets upto 100% scholoarship according to their financial status.70-80% gets placed with maximum package of 7 lakhs and minimum package of 3 lakhs and average package of around 4 lakhs.

There are generally 3 types of hostel rooms A,B,C. A and B type hostel has washroom inside the room only while C type hostel has common washroom. All the three types of room are 2 seater for mess you have pay extra amount of around 3000 per month. Quality of food is good.
