Campus and campus placement are good.Food quality in NPTi Neyveli is not good and they never hear about it.
Course Curriculum Overview
it's purely based on thermal power plant.who are interested in thermal power plat can join this course.this couse is made such a way that you can gain in depth knowledge about power plant and how it's work.it's a year course and devided into modules.there are 2 semester to pass on and in last semester you will have projects submission with elective. After completing this course you will be ready to serve in power plant without any further training provided in corporate.Here company comes to take students due to course curriculum structure and competitive environment in campus.
Placement Experience
Placement is good except a few center. Company visited in our campus are Adani Power, Tata Power, vedanta, ABB, india bulls, PPN, bhusan power, reliance, OPGCL, ACC, and many more. In recruitment drive, Various steps involved are 1.) Aptitude test 2.) Technical test 3.) group discussion 4.) personal interview. Some center provides 100% center and others upto 60%.
College Events
quize contest, fashion show, teachers day. Inter college technical papar presentation.Here some companies come with their projects to give exposure to students. All students participate with their own abilities like good exposure in boiler, turbine,generator.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are paid in semester wise.Mode of payment is by check. Since this is a central government college, all fees structure guidelines are provided nicely and followed strictly. After counseling,one have to pay 20000/- to book seat. Total 1 year course fees is 2.5 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
In exception case, college can provide but in very rare case. it depends on all India rank, percentage must be greater than 80%. one can get fee waiver upto 30% of tution fee.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good.Male to female ratio is poor here. Out of 60 students, only 2 female was there.labs facilities are superb. Here students comes from across India and provide mix kind of environment. one can enjoy life here with different religions, culture.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, there are 2 bachelor's hostel in campus.all are good with room facilities like water connection, electricity, mess. it's sharing basis.In each room,2 beds are provided.there is no PG accommodation. All room are provided with sufficient seats to accommodate students.

Admission
I got to know about this college from my friend.I was also interested to work in Power sector that's why I decided to take admission in NPTI- Neyveli PG course which is a very famous institute and it comes under ministry of Power. there are total 6 NPTI college in India and take entrance(all india) exam every year in April to May.Counselling would be in July and courses start from August. its a pure marit based exam.All NPTI center provides very good placement.In 2008 to 2014, placement was on peak.
Faculty
there are 6 lecturers in college and they all are having more than 10 to 15 years of experience in industry.A few lecturer have written book and have published paper.Here lecturer are expertise in subject like boiler, turbine, induction motor. one can get depth knowledge and exposure with professor.Average age of lectures is about 40 to 50 years.
