Focus on Empirical based research is quite good and also the entire course curriculum is industry oriented in sync with the present industry demands.

Being one year program and all students being atleast two years experienced, the scope of doing an internship is less but whoever aspires to do so gets one easily. The average stipend is 10k p.m.

The entire batch of 399 students in PGPM were placed well before the end of the course. Average salary package is 12 lacs p.a. Almost all the IT giants of India including Google visited the campus. Management consulting firms like Deloitte, KPMG too visited the campus.

Fees is a bit on the higher side. I paid 16.7 lacs in 2015. The entire fees has to be paid in installments in a single month window before joining the college in March-April itself. The fees includes tuition charges, library charges, fooding and lodging charges, medical insurance, attire charges.

Scholarships are offered but at the end of the course to the outstanding performers. Loan facility is not offered by the college but private banks and agencies readily offer loans to the selected students.

Campus life is also very good with all the basic requirements present in the campus itself. Gender ratio is 3:1 and diversity is truly enriching. Interaction with such a diverse base of friends is a learning experience in itself. Dedicated cultural and sports committees are there who organises various cultural and sports events through out the year.

Great Lakes has a strong alumni network belonging to both Chennnai & Gurgaon campus. Almost all major Indian cities has a separate GLIM Alumni community which meets once a year atleast. There is an annual alumni meet in the college too which provides a formal forum for interaction and there are several groups, communities in social media too for informal interaction.

Being one year management program, the entire course duration will be hectic and at the same time challenging. It will actually test your time management skills. The course duration is 11 months which is further sub-divided into 7 terms. Each terms having 6 subjects on an average and each subjects have in-class quizzes, mid-term and end term exams and project/case study submissions for assessments.

The management boasts of having a top class faculty for Marketing, Analytics and Operations Management. The Finance and Strategy Management faculties are also good including the Dean Dr. Bala V Balachandar. The faculty of our college is known for their research oriented approach towards the subjects.
