Remarks

The first and foremost inclination towards this college was the fee, which is relatively lower than colleges of the same league. Then the infrastructure is a class apart. The ROI I can get here is unmatched to other colleges of the same tier.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

the curriculum offered here teaches the student to be corporate-ready as there are a significant number of guest lectures from industry leaders and exposure to the incumbent industry trends. Faculties have very in-depth knowledge of their subjects and they are very helpful for any kind of suggestions.

Internships Opportunities

3

The institute offers an on-campus internship where companies visit to hire interns for the summers. Few notable companies that offer internships are; JPMC, Amul, Ford, Calvin Klein, IIFL, Mahindra, Big Basket etc.

Placement Experience

4

The institute has a dedicated placement committee that assists students in getting placed for the summer internship as well as for final placement. The institute, because of a good reputation, attracts companies from diverse fields to come and recruit graduates from the campus itself. Companies start visiting the campus in October and the whole process of placement winds up in March. The institute has succeeded almost all of the time to place 100% of students. The average package offered is around 8.5LPA, the highest package for the year 2019-2021 was around 16 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute is very considerate about students' financial conditions. In the pandemic period, when other colleges have increased their fees, Nirma stuck to its older fee structure in order to not put more pressure on students. There are two types of scholarship offered by Nirma for its MBA students; 1) Merit-based scholarship of Rs. 100,000/- per year for top 30 students. 2) Merit cum means based scholarship. This scholarship is further bifurcated into three parts: a) 25 students with family income less than 350,000/- are offered a scholarship of Rs.100,000/- per year b) 25 students with family income less than 500,000/- are offered a scholarship of Rs.50,000/- per year c) 25 students with family income less than 600,000/- are offered a scholarship of Rs.25,000/- per year

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is very jovial at the institute. With a whole academic year packed with events by more than 25 clubs and committees, one gets acquainted with every aspect of an event, be it organizing, logistics, stage handling, etc. PR10 is the flagship event organized by the Cultural Committee every year, which witness celebrities coming from different creative and artistic fields. A full-fledged library is in the academic block where one can avail books and journals of their choice. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, equipped with projector and screen, and have the capacity to accommodate 70 students at once. A full-fledged cricket ground is there on the campus, with 3 tennis courts, 2 badminton courts, 2 basketball, and volleyball courts. A dedicated hall is there to play Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess.

Hostel Facilities

4

Every hostel room is perfectly ventilated and is well lit. It's a spacious double sharing room with separate large study tables and chairs. The rooms provided are equipped with a bed, mattress, almirah, mirror, side tables, stick board, and a balcony to gaze at the jubilant murmuring of the students and lush green campus.

Interview Experience

4.5

Yes, there was an interview process and then an impromptu which contributes to finalize the merit list of students. The topic for impromptu would be something abstract like "water, kind, life, breathe, etc". To prepare for these topics, one needs to only pay attention to their surroundings and what's happening around, one should be able to relate things with these aspects.

The placements in my college are quite strong. Many reputed companies visit every year, offering roles across finance, marketing, HR, analytics, and operations. The placement cell actively organizes training sessions, mock interviews, aptitude practice, and industry interactions, which helps students build confidence and develop employability skills

FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.
