Remarks
The institute is known for its flagship finance course which I wanted to pursue hence I chose this college. The location of this college is also great as it is in the capital which allows a lot of opportunities for students. The ROI of this college as compared to others was also higher as the average package offered is 8.5 LPA which is good
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are great and they help a lot. There are also various industry leaders who come and teach to the students. The Bloomberg terminals that the college has is a great plus as it helps in understanding the course better. The pedagogy and the curriculum followed are of industrial standard and allows critical thinking. We had to go through various case studies in order to understand a concept better
Internships Opportunities
The internships offered are great but finding the right profile is a task in itself. If you're a finance student many times you end up getting a business development profile which is one of the cons. There are great companies who give internships but for that competition is high
Placement Experience
Placements at the institute are good. Many amazing companies come on board for placements. A lot of finance companies come with a great profile and the package offered is also industry standard. The median package is 9 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does offer various needs and merit-based scholarships to the students. We did not face any fee hike while we were on the campus and the institute is very respectful of your financial background.
Campus Life
The hostel is not on campus which is the biggest con of the institute. The campus shuts down by 7 PM which reduces the club activities etc. Having said that, students still have a great life as the curriculums and the fests are really interesting and fun.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were great! We had wifi and laundry in our hostel. The food was good and hygienic. There was the staff who ensured that our rooms were always cleaned and the security of the hostel was also apt.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a GD round which was also followed by WAT then there was an interview. The GD was on current affairs so having good knowledge of the affairs puts one in a good position. The interview was based on my undergrad and I faced questions from the current economic affairs as well.
Other Applied Colleges
