Remarks

You can get admission in the college through JEE Mains from 2021 but as of 2020 you have 2 options either from JEE Mains or upsee, I took the admission into the college because 1) The fee is very less as compared to other colleges of BTech also if you are a student belong to Uttar Pradesh then you are also available for scholarship from up government which broadly cover your tuition fee, so yeah if you don't get any nit you can choose it. 2) College have some reputation, not like private colleges which don't even show their actual data. 3) Infrastructure of the college isn't that well, the college is still under construction. But as it's a government college so I suggest that it's better to join as it's a government. 4) Otherwise it's quite good in terms of education and environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty of the college is quite good, as like any other engineering colleges the faculty of this colleges are well educated, very supportive, and very professional. The boys to girls ratio of the college are very bad, it's 1 girl per 5-6 boys. Even in the information technology branch. As I said the qualifications of the teachers are quite good. They even took class every day which annoying me because from 9:30 to 4:00 we have to take all classes. We have 2 ct class test (secessional) and 1-semester exam. Don't expect any kind of cheating, and there is also viva, practical, quiz, etc.

Internships Opportunities

4

College provides internship but not that much amount so it's better to look yourself, the university also provides internship time to time in collaboration with many companies, you can get an internship from there. Many other websites are there you can find internship there, also as I am in the first year so don't know much about that as I also went college to gave exams only.

Placement Experience

4

Placement isn't that great and it's up to you so if you can't study hard don't think about a good placement at all. The placement record of the information technology branch is better as compared to other branches, 68-70% of IT students got placement in recent years, the average is 3 LPA and highest is 10 LPA. It's not that good but it's the reality. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Just Dial, Byjus, Cognizant, came to the college in past years. You will have to put effort into yourself otherwise you lose.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total amount of tuition fee is 62900, the mess fee is approx 15000 and the hostel fee is approx 18000. So the total is approx 1,00,000. The fee is less than the others engineering college, also a government of Uttar Pradesh provide scholarship to the students belong to the Uttar Pradesh. But if you're not a native of Uttar Pradesh then you will not get any scholarship. The college provides internship but not in Many companies, the placement record of the college is not that much of hood but it's okay in the IT branch. Approx 68-70% of students got the placement, in the IT branch. The average package is 3lpa, while 10 LPA is the maximum it's according to official data of 2018-2019. Companies like us, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, just dial, collaborate (HCL), etc. You have to learn things in a 4years of time period rather than time pass, college can only bring the companies into campus it's you who impress them.

Campus Life

4

This is one of the major drawbacks of the college, it's not college fault actually rather I would like to say it's government fault, as we live in India, and infrastructure projects aren't complete here on time. So yeah college is under construction, the campus isn't that much active. Another thing is that college itself is quite good in terms of technology but outside College or campus isn't good at all. There is a library you can borrow books for a semester. You can go and read there. Classrooms are okay you will find a projector, digital board, whiteboard, cameras, etc. There is all type of labs. In terms of sports, students play cricket, badminton, etc. There are clubs like Yaantriki club and all that as I am in 1st year so don't really know about it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I picked this cousre because the syllabus is updated and helps with jobs. Itt prepares us well for placements but could use more practical labs.Exams are frequent and moderately hard, so you have to study regularly to score well. The student-faculty ratio is about 1:60. Senior teachers are very helpful and know thier subjects well. Exams are held frequently and are moderately difficult

Placement Experience:

The placements right now are not that good as there is a large competition in IT sector and hence the placement is not that good.... Not even 25% of final yr students get placed and those placed , are placed at very average LPA... about 4.5-5 LPA . Hardly 2 or 3 students get package of 20+LPA . If not placed on campus then one can go for GATE exam and can sit for master's degree and then will get a better placement otherwise off campus placements. After 4th or 5 th semester students can sit for the campus placements. Companis like TCS, ACCENTURE, HCL, TATA, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT , etc visits but the number of offers made are very less about 15%-20% of total students sitting for campus placements. Highest package are about 25-30LPA average package is 5 LPA percentage of students getting placed are about 20-25% through campus my plan is to get the on campus placement... if somehoe I fail, the off campus placements...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and mostly practical, which was a key reason I chose the course. It focuses on industry skills and real-world applications, though some subjects feel rushed or shallow. Exams happen every semester with internal tests in between; difficulty is moderate if you stay consistent. The course could be improved by deeper subject coverage, more hands-on projects, and stronger teaching methods that avoid slide-based explanations.
