Remarks
Main reason I choosen this college is because it's near my hometown, College bus facility is available. The college environment is very pleasant. Admission process is very easy. All you have to do is register through University of Calicut official website and select this college and then you will get a CAP ID. You can visit the college and then collect application form from the administration office fill the form provide all necessary details and documents. After submitting application form there will be an interview with the faculty member. It's easy to get admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B. Com with Finance specialisation. The faculty is qualified and professional teachers. Their teaching methods are very good. They will conduct Internal examinations, seminars and assignments. There is smart class also. In addition to academics they provided non academic courses such as Soft skill training, CET course, Value added course etc. B. Com curriculum is moderately easy syllabus if you have the courage to study.
Placement Experience
Final year students are eligible for campus placements. Campus placement for final year students is conducted during the college fest. Various companies like South Indian bank, TCS, Kittex, Joy alukkas, Pinnacle, Fincorp Ltd, HDFC, ESAF group, Nippon toyota, Muthoot finance, Indus motors, Infocares, Xerophyte etc. 50% students are getting placements in various companies. But many students are opted for higher education rather than getting placement with degree qualification.
College Events
The management is strict. But teachers and students are friendly. Campus activities are enjoyable. They conduct art festivals, management fest, science fest, sports fests. There is 3 day trip in the final year, 1 day excursion in the second year. It's a Christian management and thus they conduct holy masses. In library you can avail all the referring books for your academics and projects. They encourage in Dzone and Interzone. Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is very good and environmental friendly atmosphere. There is a study huts in the compound, a canteen. A huge library. The library is almost covered a floor. There is computer lab, chemistry, physics, psychology labs. There arep study tables in each floors where students can enjoy their leisure time or do any activities, sit and learn or simply chit chat with friends during breaktimes. There is a seminar hall, and the a center hall with a stage where all the campus activities are held as well as a Basketball court. And also a Kiosk where you can take printouts and copies, and an ATM.
