Remarks

They should be very dynamic in terms of placement or campus selection process. As we suffered in our time next batch onward should not suffer like us.Students have the potentiality but it's college management job to place it in correct direction.

Entrance Preview

I am from North India. I came to Bangalore for higher Study and joined in MBA course here.I joined at later part of the course all the entrance exams were over, hence I joined on Management Quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Regarding education, everything and everyone has been highly professional. I would definitely recommend taking this course. The quality of the course was up to my expectations. The tutors were very qualified and had good conduct. We had a little hitch with the internet and photocopier initially but this was later taken care of. Overall, the course was worth the pains.

Internships Opportunities

I think they don't provide internship to outsiders, at least during my tenure, but now no idea but we used to go t other organisation to complete out internship and it was compulsory for us.In first year I went to Nandini Dairy Corporation,Bangalore (First year Project). And next year I went to Central Silk Board for my HR project.

Placement Experience

0.5

We did not get any placement over there. None of the students in a batch can never get a placement in AMC College. To be frank their commitment during admission does not match with the realiy. This is the only part I don't like about the college. Our Placement cell very lazy to do their job.

College Events

1.5

We used to have Annual college fest.AMC college fests usually provide an excellent platform to showcase all kinds of different talents ranging from arts, educational and sports to informal ones like JAM or hogging the most food in the least time. Despite what people may say I like the quiz contest part.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very expensive.they They charge various kinds of fees under these heads: admission fees, regulatory fees, development fee, trust fee and several others. These expense are sometimes overlooked and results in making a wrong budget as these expense can range from a few thousands to lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

They did not provide me any support on this. I had to find out my own source.Ever There was no support from them to get the Education loan from outside. You need to find your own and then they will give you all the related documents. The don't have any tie up wit\h any Financial institutes in my knowledge.

Campus Life

3

I was not staying Hostel, it was situated inside the college campus.campus hostels provide their students with lesser facilities. They are well aware of the fact that parents prefer to enroll their students in a college hostel as they find it safe. With limited seats and more entries the hostel authorities don’t improve the facilities in the hostel as they know they will get admissions even if they will provide lesser facilities than the private hostels.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Though I was not staying Hostel, It was inside the college campus.campus hostels provide their students with lesser facilities. Alumni/Alumna

Recently I have joined in AMC Alumni community online.I t was ver informative and easy to get in touch with other old friend who are working in several organisations.

Exam Structure

There are two. VTU (Visvesaraya Technological University) and BU (Bangalore University). I was in VTU.The syllabus was very dynamic and very tough to clear off. This is a good part of studying in VTU syllabus unlike Bangalore University.VTU syllabus was very easy to pass.We had weekly Satellite training programme (edu-SAT) on every Thursday on Statistics and Operation Research subject, which I enjoyed much.

Faculty

3.5

MBA in Human Resource was a challenging course to get learning and that was a great chance to improve my qualifications as an corporate and have the up to date statistical techniques, methods, approaches, technological equipment. That was an amazing and as a consequence got my first Job at Infosys, Bangalore (Because there was not Placement drive was arranged for us ). We had to fight for ourselves.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Placement Experience:

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.
