Remarks

This college was the best among all UPTU colleges, am my rank in UPTU was not good. So I have applied to this college because one of my brother's friends was alumni of this college. The good aspect as our college is inside a university so we get more people to interact with.

Course Curriculum Overview

From my childhood, I wanted to go into the government sector so I have chosen mechanical engineering, as there are many vacancies in the government sector for mechanical engineers. There are 10 professors and 5-6 lab assistants and 10+ teachers in the workshop. Maximum of our teachers are m.tech. There are 4 exams (2 mids and ends and 2 quizzes). One could easily crack exams by studying what the faculty has taught.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 83543 per year

Placement Experience

For placement, I would say that not any company visits for mechanical engineering students. But for other branches such as IT/CSE companies do visit and take placement. Generally, students of mechanical engineering prepare for gate and other exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a government college the fee is a bit high, but generally, we get the scholarship every year by the state government but this year due to COVID we did not get any scholarship. The fee waiver option is not there in my college.

Campus Life

I would say that campus is the best among all the UPTU colleges of Uttar Pradesh. An eco-friendly environment is there, no bikes are allowed for the student inside the campus during working hours. There is an auditorium, swimming pool, stadium, gym, and many more things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
