Rajkiya Engineering College Azamgarh is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam technical university. This college has a good infrastructure, facilities are good, proper labs are present. This college provides a b.tech degree in three branches IT, Civil, and Mechanical Engg. branch. Pros- 1.Gov. college so, fees are less. 2.Cafeteria is there for refreshments (09 am-8.30 pm). 3.hostels are provided with good facilities. 4.you can get many opportunities here 5.Indoor games like table tennis are present. Cons- 1.college is in a very remote location. 2.college has limited space. 3.you would find only 3-4 nearby shops or u have to travel 5-8 km to buy daily use things. Addmission Process- You can take addmission to it by giving JEE mains and then upcet counseling. Generally, councelling starts in May -June period. Earlier admission was done though upset exam which is now replaced by JEE mains exams after the year 2020. I choose Mechanical Engineering because I have an interest in robotics. Here you have to do learn many skills by open learning platforms. The faculty here is well qualified most of the teachers are PhD holders from IIT and recognized universities. In our college, there are 7 periods in a day with Saturday and Sunday as a holiday. The student to the faculty ratio is about 25:1. End Sem exams are of 100 marks and 3 hours is given to complete it. The level of the exam is medium. Marks are given based on neatness and pages with proper knowledge. You can read the quantum question bank to get a pass in the exam it helps a lot.

Placements are not up to the mark. Campus placement starts in the last sem of your b.tech. Only IT sector companies visit here so you have to good at coding. Companies like tcs Mahinda collaborate to visit here. You will get packages maximum of up to 5 lpa. Many opt for gate preparation.

College fee is around 63000+hostel fee+mess fee, hostel fee is 18600and mess fee is 14880. The fee is normal and less than other private colleges. You can get a scholarship from up gov. Or can also avail fw(fee waiver) seats at the time of councelling. In this seat, u are exempted from the tution fee (40000).

The annual fest is organized and also a sports fest RPL (Rajkiya premier league) is also organized. Books are available in the library. You will get cricket Badminton football and Table Tennis here. There are various activities organized in the college also outside the college in different RECs.

You will be provided a single bed without a mattress a table and chair and a cupboard. You will get RO water. This college has a solar power generation unit so you will get 24x7 Power + water availability. Mess is attached to the hostel which is a private mess you have to pay for it but the meal is nice you will get four times meal with good quality.
