Remarks

CET is one of the best colleges in Odisha and it was closer to my home town. I took admission to the college in the month of December. The college has a good infrastructure with well-equipped labs. The college has very good teachers. We have a number of clubs which provide many new things to learn. The only bad aspect is the less number of hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are very good. They teach the subjects very well and also conduct tests from time to time. They make sure we understand everything properly. The labs are well equipped and are well maintained with all types of equipment.

Course Fees: INR 83000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There have been a number of internships provided by a number of companies. The internships were mainly based on coding and offered a good stipend. Many small companies too had come for internship.

Placement Experience

The students became eligible for the campus placements from the 8th semester. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Mindtree had come the previous year. The highest package was given by Microsoft of 43 lakhs. I am in the first semester so I have not decided what to do after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees to study in this college is not so high, since it is a government college. There are a number of scholarships provided by the college. The placements are also very good. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Mindtree come to CET during the placements.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is good. There a number of clubs which provide new things to learn. The classes are very good with good amenities and facilities. The college has a number of extracurricular activities.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for VSSUT Burla but could not clear the cutoff. Also i would like to add on this that i did a better job in choosing the seat here .
