Remarks

Dg vaishnav possess fairly a good and nice campus with organized parking lot and the infrastructure was very nice and accessible. The library, the computer labs, and the faculty were above average. I would like to Suggest to upgrade the sports department and also the cultural events can be conducted more and in a more organized way. On the academics part I would suggest people to join this very reputed college.

Entrance Preview

I had acquires 70% in my 12th boards from a cbse affiliated school, and I was keen into pursue a career in marketing and commerce, that's the reason I opted for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure was quite informative and useful in the practical world. But it wasn't a structure based on which we could carry out a research.i would like to Suggest them to add more practical cases and projects which can help students be more competitive in the real field.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provided us an opportunity to do a project on wholesale.amd retail stores, the way they function but we weren't awarded any kind of stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

This was the most disappointing part when we were at the college, there was no campus recruitment for the passed out students. I would like to Suggest to add campus hiring if they haven't got this system of campus placement.

College Events

3.5

There were many cultural and patriotic festivals used to be held. The names of the few events goes as per, Economic quest, splash conducted by rotaract club for drawing and painting, sports events by NSS, The dg vaishnav fest was one of.the huge and major success where most of the reputed colleges participated making it a huge success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of dg vaishnav was divided into two methods, Morning college, evening college Morning college fees used to be as per govt. Rules where as evening college students were asked to pay a little more. But the fees structure was very much affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

I might not be able to help you out on this as well. Because I never availed any loan. And the scholarship program was quite a good one as I heard from the sourceS.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio when I used to study was quite low. For example we had a class strength of about 60 students out of which there were 50 boys and 10 girls and that was the average ratio of almost every class. But there was no inequality issues or any kind of discrimination between the genders. There were quite a few other nationality students but there was never any kind of discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

4

Am afraid, I wouldn't be able to answer this question as I was a resident student from chennai and I never used the hostel facilities, let it be the hostel room or the mess. But I used to regularly visit the canteen which offered more of south indian taste dishes but the rates were quite affordable with an average food quality.

Alumni/Alumna

On this part, I would like to say, not much effort was taken by the college management. but the on campus experience was a very warming one. There used to be light jovial moments of leg pulling in the initial part of the term but after that it was a very pleasant atmosphere created by the seniors.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was chilled and student friendly. There was never a hectic schedule or pressurized session in terms of exams or tests. We as students used to get ample time to study and prepare for the exams. The timings of the exams were also very convenient which never added any burden on the students.

Faculty

4

The faculty was very much trained and qualified to lead and enrich our knowledge required for the same . But there is always a room for improvement and betterment. Faculties were either too leniant or too strict. A standard benchmark can be set up and there is also a possibility to hire Better ones.
