Remarks

College management is as usual like any other management was strict only. Even if you want to go for a coaching or something, so many nonsense we used to do. But yes management was approachable so that was the best part.

Entrance Preview

RPT exam took heard good about the college from a friend, who also got admission. Dad's preference as it was a girls college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum was same for every college that falls in Rajasthan Technical University. Actual technologies should have come in the initial semesters, then students will be able to decide for which technology they will choose further. and all the other subjects necessary for some gov jobs can be added in the second last semesters. Some reshuffling was needed. So it was ok but not every one gets chance to do hands on.

Internships Opportunities

It hardly provided any. Ericsson came once in my 4 years. And some good stiphend was given. Don't remember the amount. About 20 students were selected for internship out of 240 (CS- IT Batch). Really tough fight.

Placement Experience

3

Placement opportunities were there for the deserving candidates. Though not for everyone it was available about 60 students got placed out of 240. SO average I would say. This year Microsoft also came for hiring. I will say it's becoming better and better.

College Events

3.5

Techfest every 2 year it was celebrated. Technical event it was. Once Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam sir came to our college for the ending speach of one of those fest. Vidhya Balan came once. Freshers and farewells were always celebrated. Saraswathi puja waqs special.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was again same as every college in Rajasthan. That time it was feasible only, lesser than IITs. Now also it is lesser than IIt, though increased. There are some consessional seat, those candidates need to pay only 1/4th of the fee. At the time only you need to opt for a concessional seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nops no loan facility was offered by the college. Concessional seat is there, which I have mentioned in.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was awesome. Most of the faculties were good only. Most of the students we used t o talk. Late night gossips and maggi were famous. Gender ratio was 0 as only girls were there. But in the front side there is co-ed college was there. It used to share the same premise. SO - so many events used to happen all the time. Full engaging life it was.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Mess food was one of the best Mess food available in all the colleges of Rajasthan. Hostel stay was strict. Especially hostel warden. We needed to stand in a queue to get the permission to go out of the campus. We need to give the proper reasons for that. And sometimes she even used to call our parents. So pathetic hostel stay.

Alumni/Alumna

Not really very few alumni attend the alumni meet. Not a very old college. In 2002 only started. And most of the earlier alumni joined teaching field only.

Exam Structure

Same as every college that falls in Rajasthan Technical University. And we were pretty satisfied with that. For some subjects, like java we attended labs properly and utilized that fully. For others which were not so imp even faculty was lenient in terms of our attendance there. Mass bunks were very common in 7th sem.

Faculty

4

Some faculties were no doubt awesome. Some were average. Best part was this college used to give teaching job to all the placed alumni, if anybody was interested in the same. So even if faculty was not experience, it was very active. Reasonable good knowledge they had.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
