Review of my college

After not getting admission to an institute of national importance, I was very upset that I have ruined my whole life. I used to curse myself but then I came to know about my College and I applied to it on basis of my JEE Main marks and I was fortunate that in the very first round I got the seat in E.C.E. Though my dream was always to pursue CSE as it was governmental and I was knowing that placement isn't going to take place as I heard mostly from others. So I choose ECE as through it. I can apply for Engineering services also. And now came the 2nd September 2019 when I first attended my college and I am not lying whatever I heard outside was wrong about it.

Most of the teacher here is from a reputed institute and mostly they are young, So they treat us like brothers and sisters ( But not while submission of assignments). The ratio of boys to the girl in my branch is 45:15. So it's a good number (but not in other branches). We have a schedule for our exams. (Teachers may forget to wear shoes but they never forget to take class tests and assignments).

Our college and more correctly my branch had collaborations with BSNL, BHEL and NTPC where our seniors had done an internship with a handsome stipend but due to covid, we aren't lucky enough to have it. So I think that placement cell is working best in order to provide internship atleast.

Since here most of the students either prefer higher studies or government jobs so placement is not as I had expected. But an interesting fact is that most of the students find their jobs in one or two years. Now from 2017, atleast 50 students are placed in the same year of graduation and in 2019 one student from ECE grab the highest package of 12 lakhs on campus in R&D.

The fee structure of our college is low. 50000 for a B.Tech degree. But still, the government provides a lot more scholarship. We have credit card facilities by the Bihar government according to which a student gets 3.5 lakhs without any interset till they get a job. This only help many of us to continue our studies here.

On the cradle of river Ganga, our campus is situated and surrounded by natural beauty. You may find all kinds of tree and can enjoy the mangoes during summer. We have many societies on our campus- Robotics, coding, photography, dramatic (Hurdang). We have our annual fest (Technorati) which mainly starts from the 2nd week of February which is one of the best in our state after the IIT Patna fest. We have our own gymkhana (but no one used to go as it is all time occupied by our loving seniors), indoor stadium.
