Remarks
MITACSC College is near to my house, has a reasonable fee structure, and is also a reputed college for a B.Sc degree. With its huge campus and great infrastructure, it is one of the best institutions in Pune. It has excellent faculty and academics, a throbbing campus and social life, and connectivity from any corner of the city. The admission process is merit-based and standard 12th marks are considered. Admission starts around June-July and the in-office admission process is followed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Sc. Computer Science course is a comprehensive course with wide real-life application. In demand requirements of the job in the tech industry is what made me choose this course. The college has career guidance at the end of the course. The student to faculty ratio is about 10:1 and it is pretty much the same for other streams. The faculty is dedicated and committed to students' welfare. They are experienced in their own domains. All the professors have completed Master's and have a good experience. A practical teaching approach is taken. Term exams are conducted from time to time and exams are fairly easy to pass
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered at MITACSC. Third-year students are eligible for the placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS visit the campus and offer placement. The average package is around 3.5 LPA. Every year nearly 60% of students get placed. After completion of the course, I'll opt for placements and off-campus interviews as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees required for the course is 40000/-. Cost to study including fees, traveling cost, stationery, and canteen would be around 55000/- maximum. There is no direct mention of any fee hike policy. Scholarships and freeships are provided by the government and various other organizations.
Campus Life
The campus is incredibly good. As the college has been recently built, its infrastructure is like new. Spacious classrooms, well-maintained labs, hostel, and other amenities are provided. MITACSC has a throbbing campus life. Various cultural and social events are organized. MPULSE is the main annual event held at MITACSC during the month of January. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged and supported. There are Kabaddi team, cricket and football team, etc.
