I took EMCET entrance exam in 2007 and scored 11,000 rank. To my rank thus was the best one to pick a seat among available college during counseling.

Course structure is pretty good which covers technologies related to computer science. I believe the course structure was defined by andhra University which has to include Java and few other languages as part of course which helps students get strong knowledge.

During the period placements were pretty good, few companies conducted drives. At that time we have TCS, Syntel, and HCL. but the bad part is no training on placement and attitude tests and mock tests which may yield to less success rate. A suggestion to management keep an extra subject for T&A and educate students so that college can yield good results in placements.

Every year one tech fest was conducted and hope it's continuing now as well. Apart from that cultural events, sports were conducted often in college. Sports like valley ball, cricket and indoor games like table tennis, badminton etc. Attractive prizes will be given to winners.

The fee was decided by government of Andhra Pradesh, which may differ from year to year. During that period it was 27000 approximately. Donation based seats also available in college. The donation fee varries from time to time and the demand of the course u choose to persue.

Govt offers scholarship for poor guys based on some structure. I remember some sponsors were offering scholarships for Merritt students.

Gender ratio is pretty much equal. Workshops were conducted twice a year, cultural activities on annual day celebrations and at some other events. Quality standards were not bad at that time. Bad part is politics will be played if any issues occurred between students and preferences will be given to local guys.

Exams were conducted alternative days which was the good part. So students have sufficient time to prepare. Also has supplements for students who couldn't able to pass in first attempt. The best part is you can apply for re correction or re write the exam if we're not satisfied with score achieved.

During the period the faculty is pretty much good professors except few are junior for some subjects. I think the administration should think while allocating subjects to the faculty, because the tough subjects like DSA and OS were given to junior faculty.
