After PUC(12th class) took a CET. After the CET results are published there will be counselling, where we can select the college and course we want. During my PUC time there was a boom in the IT industry, so decided to get into the Computers. As i didnt got an computer engineering seat i took Information science seat.

Information science is just like Computer science branch, except few subjects are different. Computer science focus a bit on hardware side where as information science purely deal with the software. Except few computer languages which we studied (not fully) were useful otherwise the subjects which we studied are not in use.

No. There was no intership provided by the college. But if the student is interested in attending any such company for intership during there semester holidays, they can always go and work.

As our's was only the second batch in the college, and due to the lack of experienced placement officer there were only a couple of placements during our stay in the college. The management could have taken some interest in arranging the placements, which i feel they failed in.

As mentioned earlier, our's was a second batch in the college. So such festivals were next to none. But we used to visit other colleges for such events. But i got updates that now-a-days the college is hosting many such technical events national wide.

During our time the fees were nominal. Annual fees were around Rs.17500, and college fees were about Rs.5000. Apart from that the hostel fees were around Rs.10000 and hostel mess bill would be around Rs.800 to Rs.1000 per month. So looking at the current rise in the cost of education it was feasible.

No the college did not provide any scholarships. But you can always go with the educational loan which is very good. Several banks provide the educational loans at comfortable interest.

Hostel rooms were good, spacious and well equiped. The rooms were available in mostly 3 sharing, each student will be given a cot, bed, pillow, study table, chair and a cupboard. Bathrooms were common on each floor. Except few times the usage of bathrooms wasnt that challenging task as they were shared.

As it was a 4 years course, we had 8 semesters. So the duration of each semester will be from 5 to 5 and half month. Each semester will have 3 theory internals and 1 lab internal. So almost in end of each month one exam will be there so it is very hectic.

Faculty was good. Inspite most of the lecturers were having less experience in teaching field they all tried to do their best. But the mathematics teacher Dr. P G Patil was too good in explaining the concepts. There are many more lecturers who were very much dedicated like Mr.Ravi kumar. One of my favourite lecturer was Mrs Vijaya Lakshmi.
