Remarks

I had appeared for all major MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, MHCET, and other major MBA entrance exams. JBIMS was the best college which I had converted and it was the most reputed college in Mumbai hence it was an easy choice for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the MMS program is highly industry-relevant and offers in-depth core subjects alongside electives of all possible streams of your choice. The overall structure of the curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant to the industry standards.

Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The highest stipend was 5.67 lacs and the mean stipend ranges at 2.05 lacs. The highest offers for SIPs were from Banking and International businesses followed by E-Commerce, conglomerates, FMCG and Consulting.

Placement Experience

The placement numbers have risen considerably even amidst the pandemic and the 2020 figures suggest that the Average salary is 22.84LPA. While the highest is 34.36LPA. Also, there were over 60 PPOs received by the batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for a 2 year MMS course is 6 lacs for the general category. The return on investment is huge and is much better than the top IIMs, SP Jain, NMIMS, XLRI, SIBM, other premium B-Schools of the country.

Campus Life

The campus life is very happening as there is a constant buzz around the campus. There are fests, guest lectures, workshops, seminars, events constantly happening and keeps the students engaged with various activities which helps in the overall development of the individual,

Interview Experience

The admission process is conducted by DTE or the Directorate of Technical Education. The procedure is to write MH-CET and other exams and register for the CAP rounds. After registering and document verification, they allot the colleges on the basis of merit.

Current Scanario review for Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is not as per current industry. Topics like Finance planning, Management, Change and OD subjects needs to be included as per current industry scenario. Faculty support for exam preparation project. Internship they support but no guarantee of finding.

My overall experience with my college

Placement Experience:

Placement is same for everyone who cracks gets the placement. There is eligibility according to marks for that . There are n (50-60approx) no of companies like GM , AXIS AMUL etc . 100% internship is provided for summer internship. After 3rd semister the students placements starts. Finance and HR placements are not gigh package min 3LPA is there.

Msc Finance at JBIMS considers MAH-MBA-CET, CAT scores for shortlisting. Otherthan above mentioned exams if one has cleared UPSC CSE Mains exam can also apply for MSc Finance. For shortlisting open candidates 97 percentile is a minimum requirement. After one gets shortlisted there is a WAT round where one has to write an essay of 300 words in 10 minutes. Next round is of GD (Group discussion) where around 12 candidates are formed in a group and one topic is given to have discussion which lasts usually for around 30 minutes, the final round is of PI (personal interview) here industry experts are at interview panel, they go through your resume and asks relative questions about finance and economics....Read More

Eligibility is Graduation complete or final year appearing.Entrance tests like CET or CAT. Application Process is College releases the notice for the admission forms being out. Filling out the correct application form. Application fees are 1000 rupees. Deadline for the application is given. Upload the correct required documents and fill out the correct form and submit. Cut Offs are released: CET :90 percentile, CAT 85 percentile for GEN catagory. CET difficulty level: easy to medium CAT difficulty level: medium to hard.
