University Business School is one of the top B-Schools in North India. The college is ranked in Top-50 B-schools. the good in college is firstly its ROI (offering a great return in terms of fee invested), Secondly, the college has a well qualified and experienced faculty. The college usually begins its admission process in January, ending in late April.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite diverse covering all the major aspects of the industry. The college offers specialisation in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, HR, IT & Operations. The faculty Student ratio is 1:5. The professors are highly qualified and well experienced in their domains.
Internships Opportunities
Various Internships are offered to the students, that include both summer internships as well as winter internships. The companies visiting the campus to hire interns include Volvo & Eicher, SBI, TATA AIG, Outlook group etc
Placement Experience
The placements in the college are quite good, with top-notch companies of the industry visiting the campus to hire students, it includes HSBC, SmartCube, Infosys. HDFc etc. The Highest package offered is around 50 lakhs by Tolaram Group, with an average package of around 8-9 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are quite minimal and are comparatively lesser than other colleges. The fees hike is quite rare as it is a government college. Financial assistance and scholarship are available for all the students on the basis of the background they belong to.
Campus Life
There is generally a lot of events conducted at Panjab University, so there is not a particular annual fest for the college. The classrooms have good amenities. There a few clubs in the college that include Business Cell (the main club plans all the event in college), Placement Cell, Alumni Relations. Investment Cell. Hospitality cell, consulting Club etc.
Interview Experience
Shortlisting is done on the basis of the CAT score, 85% consideration is given to it. But as heard GD is based on recent topics or abstract topics. After GD, a Personal interview is conducted where questions are based on personal attributes, academics, current affairs and work experience.
